CARROLLTON, Texas - Two people were killed and three others wounded in a shooting at a Korean supermarket outside Dallas after what police described as a business meeting turned violent.
The shooting happened in front of Gwangjang Korean Market in Carrollton, about 25 miles north of downtown Dallas. Carrollton Police Chief Roberto Arredondo said officers found no indication of a wider threat to the public and described the incident as a targeted event rather than random gunfire.
Police took a 69-year-old suspect, Seung Han Ho, into custody after a short foot chase.
