The 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans concluded with Toyota Racing securing an emphatic victory. Drivers Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and Nyck de Vries piloted the #7 Toyota TR010 Hybrid to the top spot, marking the manufacturer’s sixth overall win in the French endurance classic and its first since 2022.

Toyota’s victory was built on a bold strategic decision made just 30 minutes into the race. By pitting both of its hypercars early for short-fueling, the team successfully undercut the competition. This maneuver allowed the #8 Toyota to move into the lead after the first hour, while the #7 car climbed into the top ten, positioning both vehicles as persistent contenders throughout the duration of the event.

Competition remained intense among the top manufacturers. The #20 BMW M Hybrid V8, driven by Robin Frijns, Rene Rast, reportedly and Sheldon van der Linde, maintained a strong pace to secure second place, splitting the two Toyotas. The sister #8 Toyota, driven by Brendon Hartley, reportedly Ryo Hirakawa, and Sebastien Buemi, eventually finished third after losing time during the morning hours due to a brake drum mounting change.

Cadillac showed significant speed throughout the race, with the #12 V-Series leading for several periods. However, a Full Course Yellow (FCY) late in the race hindered its podium aspirations, leaving the team to finish fourth. The factory Cadillac effort was further impacted by the retirement of the #38 car, which suffered power steering failure during the early morning hours.

Defending champions Ferrari faced a difficult outing, with the factory #51 499P finishing fifth. The Italian manufacturer struggled with pace and faced penalties, while the #50 entry was forced to retire due to mechanical issues. Other notable finishers included the Alpine #35 in sixth and the satellite AF Corse Ferrari in seventh, while Aston Martin completed its sophomore effort with an eighth-place finish.

In the LMP2 class, the Inter Europol Competition team demonstrated dominance by securing a one-two finish. The #43 Oreca, driven by Jakub Smiechowski, Nick Yelloly, and Tom Dillmann, crossed the finish line nearly 30 seconds ahead of the team's second entry. This result underscored the competitiveness of the field, as six different manufacturers concluded the race within the top eight spots of the elite Hypercar class.
